MIAL has been instructed by Director Safety, DGCA that henceforth all non schedule aircrafts shall carry tow bar or arrange to have a tow bar thru its handling agent so that the aircraft can be PUSHED BACK for halting. It will henceforth be a practice that aircraft once it enters OB3 will shut engines & disembark its pax after which it will be pushed back to its parking position. THIS WILL BE MONITORED BY SAFETY OFFICIALS FROM MIAL and to avoid any sort of inconvenience all operators are advised to arrange for a tow bar and push back tractor.
